The GS men’s tennis squad hosted rival Georgia State on Saturday where they fell 1-4 to the Panthers, finishing the regular season at 15-10.

In doubles, the Eagles dropped two matches and lost the points there. The duo of freshman Antonio Muniz and junior Murphy McCullough dropped their match 2-6 to GSU.

The singles results weren’t quite friendly either, with Muniz being the only Eagle to win his match, 6-2, 6-2, over the Panther’s Robert Grinvalds.

GS heads west to Peachtree City on Friday, April 19, where they square off against Coastal Carolina to start the Sun Belt postseason. Action is set to get underway at 1:30 p.m.
