Tookie Brown named All-American Honorable Mention

Georgia Southern senior guard Tookie Brown was named All-American Honorable Mention by the Associated Press, announced Tuesday.

Brown has racked up an enormous amount of awards this season as the impressive senior has been named Sun Belt Player of the Year, first-team All-Sun Belt, first-team National Association of Basketball Coaches all-district and the Georgia College Men’s Player of the Year by the Atlanta Tipoff Club.

Brown averaged 17.3 points on the season as well as collecting a total of 572 points on the 2018-19 season.

The Eagles is also the first player for GS to earn first-team All-Sun Belt honors all four years as well as being the first Eagle named conference Player of the Year since 2006.
