STATESBORO—Eagle football’s Ephraim Kitchen Jr. and Chris Harris Jr. were arrested Tuesday on drug charges, according to jail records.
Kitchen, a graduate transfer cornerback, was charged with possession of marijuana and has his bond set at $2,000.
Harris, a senior cornerback, was charged with possession of a schedule I controlled substance and has his bond set at $7,500.
“Georgia Southern football players Chris Harris Jr., Wesley Kennedy III, Ephraim Kitchen Jr. and CJ Wright have been suspended indefinitely for violations of athletics department policies,” said Georgia Southern Athletics in a statement to The George-Anne.
The arrests come less than 24 hours after Wesley Kennedy III and CJ Wright were booked in the Bulloch County Jail Monday for drug and weapons charges. The four arrests stem from the same case, according to WJCL Sports Director Frank Sulkowski.
Harris had appeared in seven games and accumulated 11 total tackles in 2020, while Kitchen has yet to appear in a game for the Eagles this season.

Dunno, but that whole team should be piss (urine) tested for drugs. Just to find out if there are any more undisclosed drug issues among the remaining players for two reasons. The first, to clear any other players from becoming part of the fallout from this incident and second for the integrity of the remaining players who will surely be scrutinized because of this incident.
