Georgia Southern senior Rosemary Kramer has been named the Southern Conference Shooter of the Month for the third time this season.

Kramer has won the last six air rifle meets that she’s been in and nine out of the whole season.

The senior from Culloden, Georgia shot the third best meet in program history, shooting a 596 air rifle. This also contributed in another area when it helped her qualify for the NCAA Air Rifle Championship.

She holds the title as the 2019 SoCon Air Rifle champion and was the SoCon Air Rifle Athlete of the Year again.

Kramer has made history here at GS and has made many new school records. She shot a GS and SoCon record shooting 598 in air rifle back in October and then shooting the same score at the SoCon Championship.

Kramer will be the first Southern Conference student-athlete to qualify for the NCAAs since 1985. She will also be the first GS rifle athlete to shoot at the NCAAs in its history.

Holding 11 out of the top 12 scores in GS Air Rifle history, she looks to add to that this Saturday to keep adding to her success.
