Georgia Southern women’s basketball fell to Little Rock on the road Thursday 51-80, moving their conference record to 2-14 with a 7-20 overall record.

Coming into the game with a five game losing streak, the Eagles pushed that number to six, despite 12 points from junior forward Hailey Dias-Allen, who was the only GS player to break double digits.

The Trojans started the game on an 8-0 run and never looked back, forcing 22 Eagle turnovers and building their lead to an insurmountable number.

The loss effectively ended any chance for GS to make the Sun Belt tournament, as only the top 10 teams are taken- meaning two games remain on the schedule for the season.

The Eagles continue their Arkansas road trip on Saturday, when they play Arkansas State at 5 p.m. before the season finale in Atlanta against rival Georgia State on March 9.
