Georgia Southern Men’s Golfer has been named to the Hogan Award Watch List for the second straight season.

The Ben Hogan Award Watch List was named on Wednesday by the Hogan Trophy Award Foundation, the Friends of Golf (FOG) and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) and Steven Fisk, the senior from Stockbridge, Georgia, was on that list.

This award is usually given to the top men’s NCAA Division I, II, and III golfers, along with NAIA or NJCAA college golfers. The committee takes into account all collegiate and amatuer competitions within the 12 month period from June to May.

The Ben Hogan Award selection committee includes leaders in collegiate, amatuer and professional golf so that there is an array of opinions. While keeping an eye on the players throughout the year, they come down to giving twenty-eight players a spot on the watch list.

Fisk continues to bring honors and awards back to GS and fans cannot wait to see him finish his last season at GS.

The next tournament for the Eagles is set for Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 16-17 at the Gator Invitational in Gainesville, hosted by the University of Florida.
