Georgia Southern officials announce 76 positive COVID-19 ahead of it’s fourth week

STATESBORO — Georgia Southern officials reported a week of increased positive COVID-19 cases, reporting 76 cases during the third week of this spring semester.
After completing the third full week of classes in the Spring semester, “the report below indicates a leveling of total cases from the previous week while continuing to reflect the overall increased number of COVID-19 cases in Georgia and throughout our region with 16 university-confirmed cases and 60 self-reported cases last week.” said a disclaimer on the GS’ reporting website.
