Campuses to return to ‘normal’ this fall
USG announces a return to pre-COVID-19 procedures this fall.
March 4, 2021
The University System of Georgia has asked all campuses to plan for resuming normal pre-COVID-19 operations in the fall.
Masking and social distancing guidelines will become a relic of the past as the vaccine supply catches up with its demand over the year.
“This decision comes as wider availability of vaccines over the next few months is anticipated to control the spread of COVID-19,” USG wrote on their website.
Although USG is planning for normal fall operations later this year, USG will continue to confer with the Department of Public Health to ascertain the most effective practices for reducing the spread of COVID-19 and will adjust as necessary.
