• The cross country team wins the women’s 5k run with 36 points. Four of the runners place within the top ten individually. Isabel Ptacek ran the fastest time for Georgia Southern, with a time of 20:01.39 with a third place finish.
• Women’s soccer hosts Stetson and wins 2-1.
• Men’s soccer hosts North Florida and wins 2-1.
• Volleyball hosts FIU and sweeps them, 3-0.

Saturday, September 11

• Volleyball loses 3-1 to Murray State at home.
• Football team loses 38-6 in a road battle at FAU. Read our postgame article here.

Sunday, September 12

• Women’s tennis player Nadja Meier earns a draw in singles final in ITF 25k Florence Pre-Qualifier. Meier claims a spot in the main draw for the ITF event in October.
• Women’s soccer travels to Mercer and wins 1-0.
