Former Georgia Southern running back Wesley Kennedy III has been reported missing by his mother. Kennedy, 23, was reported missing Sunday around 1:30 p.m., according to a report by WJCL.

Kennedy was last seen leaving his apartment near Kessler Avenue in Savannah, but a potential sighting occurred near I-16 and I-95 in the early hours of Monday morning.

The former star athlete stands 5’10”, 180 pounds and was last seen wearing a light colored shirt and shorts.

The search for Wesley Kennedy III has been called off for the night. Will resume at 10 a.m. Tuesday morning.
