Jessica Williamson was announced Georgia Southern’s new director of the Academic Success Center at the beginning of this year.

The Georgia Southern alumna and double eagle has had over 10 years of experience in higher education, with her most recent job being the director of East Georgia State College.

“I’m really liking my new role,” said Williamson. “The best part coming in was seeing just how much the team members of the ASC truly care about student success.”

Williamson went on to say that the ASC offers a variety of services such as peer mentoring, tutoring and academic coaching.

“I want students to know that the ASC is for everyone, no matter where you are in your academic journey,” said Williamson.
