Anointed Voices’ Open Mic

On Monday, The Anointed Voices Choir held an open mic event. Several students gathered to sing their favorite songs, recite poetry, and rap. The energy in the room echoed throughout The Student Union.

It was the perfect way to kick off April, a month that will surely be busy for most students at Armstrong. It served as a reminder that even when things seem hectic, there is always time to let loose and enjoy the company of others while screaming out the lyrics to We Don’t Talk About Bruno or reciting Maya Angelou.

This event kicks off a week of celebration for the group. On Wednesday, April 6th, they will be outside of The Student Union to sing, dance, and speak with students. This weekend is also their Alumni Weekend. A weekend full of activities will lead up to a Reunion Gala on Sunday evening.
