UPB to host Murder Mystery event
August 27, 2018
The University Programming Board has organized a Murder Mystery event for both first-year and returning students to enjoy during the Weeks of Welcome.
This is a first-time event and will be held on Tuesday in the Russell Union Ballroom at 6 p.m.
The event challenges individuals to solve a crime murder and find the killer.
Jasmyn Bell, special events chair, said the event is available to all students free of charge.
“This is open to all Georgia Southern students at no cost since the University Programming Board is a university-sponsored organization that uses students’ fees to provide these events,” Bell said. “This event is within Weeks of Welcome, therefore, it is open to only Georgia Southern students.”
Bell hopes that students who participate in this event have a sense of diversity and community because it’s something in which the UPB prides itself.
