After tons of social media speculation on Monday, the Eagles were able to lockdown their first athlete of the class of 2019 in Jaden Jenkins.

Listed as an athlete on some sites and a dual-threat quarterback on others, Jenkins is just downright athletic.

In his junior year, the three-star from Louisville, Georgia threw for more than 1,100 yards and 16 touchdowns. He was also an incredible force on the ground rushing for 935 yards and 11 touchdowns.

{{tncms-inline account=”Jaden Jenkins” html=”<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Committed 🦅💯 <a href="https://twitter.com/chadlunsford?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@chadlunsford</a> <a href="https://t.co/Ep2nEAmIoq">pic.twitter.com/Ep2nEAmIoq</a></p>— Jaden Jenkins (@JadenJenkins15) <a href="https://twitter.com/JadenJenkins15/status/1019246359780773888?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">July 17, 2018</a></blockquote>” id=”https://twitter.com/JadenJenkins15/status/1019246359780773888″ type=”twitter”}}

Jenkins is quick, but also has the stamina to continuously get downfield with big plays. His awareness is also one of the best from any other recent recruits for the Eagles.

The 6-foot-3 205 athlete had offers from Cincinnati, Kentucky and Navy among others.

Jefferson County was able to beat SW Macon before losing to Benedictine Academy in the second round of the 2017 GHSA Class 2A state playoffs.
