The Georgia Southern rifle team announced Thursday that Caroline Brakeville and Emily Christopoul would join the Eagles, who look to continue their success in the fall of 2018, after the duo signed their NLIs.

Brakeville comes to GS from Shreveport, Louisiana with a lot of experience in competition, finishing as high as first place in the Louisiana State 3 Position Air Rifle Junior Olympic Championship.

Christopoul hails from Boca Raton, Florida, also providing a lot of experience that will prove useful for the Eagles. Christopoul became the first Sharp Shooter and Expert Shooter Award winner in her school, Boca Raton Community High School’s history.

The duo of future Eagles join Rachel Gray, who signed earlier in the year. Competition begins for the 2018-19 season on the road in Dahlonega, Georgia on Sept. 30, where GS will face North Georgia and Morehead State.
