COVID-19 Regulations Fall 2022
August 31, 2022
Close contact reporting is no longer required.
Why it matters: When students are exposed to a COVID positive individual, they are no longer required to report their close contacts, per a GS Health Services update.
What’s next: Students and faculty should still continue to follow the previous COVID-19 regulations.
- “The University will continue to provide free COVID testing and vaccines to our faculty, staff, and students,” said GS Communications and Marketing. “This offering includes primary doses and booster doses.”
- “If a student is experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, they should get tested immediately.” said GS Communications and Marketing. “If you test positive for COVID-19, please complete the university’s online Health Reporting Form, located within the MyGS portal. The form will provide appropriate steps for your isolation and alert your professors.
- Faculty and staff should follow the same protocols and should reach out to their supervisors if they test positive.
