On Saturday, Georgia Southern took down rival Appalachian State in exhilarating fashion and claimed their bowl spot in the process.

Now that the Eagles know they will play another game, it’s time to take a look at what bowl games the national media is projecting for the team.

ESPN: Kyle Bonagura has the Eagles in the Cure Bowl against Connecticut, while Mark Schlabach projected the Eagles to the Boca Raton Bowl against Eastern Michigan.

CBS Sports: Jerry Palm projected the Eagles to the Camellia Bowl against Liberty.

247Sports: Brad Crawford also projected the Eagles to the Camellia Bowl, but has them taking on Eastern Michigan.

Sports Illustrated: Richard Johnson projected the Eagles to the Armed Forces Bowl against Memphis.

USA Today: Erick Smith projected the Eagles to the Boca Raton Bowl against Utah State.

College Football News: CFN projected the Eagles to the Myrtle Beach Bowl against Liberty.
