Downtown Statesboro hosted Winterfest on Friday, and featured vendors and a performance by Dan Larkin and Friends.

What happened: Downtown was treated with a small fire pit and music.

• Mellow Mushroom gave out free slices of pizza.
• The Saucy Shrimp, Big Dog Snowcones, and The Taco Truck were a few of the food choices offered at the event.
• Southern River Co., Michaela’s Creations, and La Hacienda Western Wear were a few vendors at the event as well.
