Georgia Emergency Management is hosting a campaign during this week to prepare Georgians to prevent losses and damages. 

Why it matters: Spring showers can bring severe weather such as tornadoes, floods and thunderstorms. Therefore, it is time to prepare and GEM has mandated that residents, schools, and businesses participate in Georgia’s PrepareAthon.
