The Eagles lost to both Marshall and Southern Miss this past week.

Game Summary: The Eagles played a close first half before jumping out to an 11 point lead going into the half. The Eagles continued this lead with a strong second showing in the second half, but Marshall would not back down. With less than 15 seconds left, Marshall would take a one point off a layup, completing their comeback. The Eagles would lose 83-84

• Tyren Moore scored 16 points adding 3 rebounds
• Tai Strickland came off the bench and scored 13 points

Game Summary: In their final road game, the Eagles played conference leading Southern Miss. The game proved to be tough as the Eagles went back and forth before going into the half time with a 6 point deficit. The second half was no different. They scored more points in the second half but so did Southern Miss. The Eagles ultimately lost the game 62-73.
