The Eagles took the field at beautiful Eagle Creek as Spring Practice and the march to the 2018 season continues to roll on.

Tyler Bass and the rest of the Georgia Southern kickers were on showcase.

The redshirt junior looked good in what was just a practice, but looks to continue improvement going into his second year as the starting kicker for the Eagles.

Last season, Bass went 15-19 in field goals made, his longest being a 48 yard long one against Georgia State.

With last season’s punter Matt Flynn graduating, the Eagles have two redshirt sophomores fighting for the starting job.

Magill Bauerle and August Bowers, who took the field during punting drills, looked good as well.

The Eagles’ punt block team was able to block one punt during the course of the drills, which leaves some added excitement going into the season.

The Eagles to improve their special teams from a year ago, and improve in all facets of the game.
