Gunshots at the Cambridge apartment complex were reported Saturday morning at 5a.m.

What’s new: Captain Jared Atkins of the Statesboro Police Department said they have found bullet casings and noticeable damage to property, but no one is known to be harmed at this time. 

“The safety and security of all our residents remain our highest priorities.  Firearms and other weapons are prohibited at Cambridge @ Southern, as well as any violent conduct.  We will take swift action to exclude from the community any person who threatens the safety of others,” said Sarah Alsup, general manager of Cambridge, in an email sent to residents.
