For the 2023 school year the transportation department implemented new bus routes

There are two main routes this year… a blue route and a gold route

The blue route runs from the stadium to the rac to the college of education 

The gold route runs from the stadium to Cambridge to student union back to the stadium

Senior Jessica shares her thoughts on the new routes

“i think they need to go back to the original routes. Where there was the blue bus the maroon route and the gold bus you could ride blue from Russell union to the end at the rac if you just had to go to one spot you could just get on the maroon and go to college of education.”

Students have had their voices heard… discussing their displeasure for the new system on social media apps

Students have requested that they bring the maroon route back from last year to take the pressure off the other two routes

One student has a wildcard… that just may work on the busses

“if we get music on the bus that would be cool too. Whatever mood im in that day we could trade out on aux. Whoever is there first can control the music.”

Transportation also offers a Publix route for students without personal transportation 

It runs Monday through Thursday from 6 to 9.

There are no future plans to change the routes at this moment.
