It was Senior Day in Hanner Fieldhouse for four Eagles. Alexis Foulks, who scored 17 points, Trellanie English-Lurry and Jakayvea Akins, and student manager Trauna Williams played their final games in Hanner in a loss against Troy.

As for the game itself, the Eagles were able to keep it close, trailing by only four points at the half, 40-44, and entering the fourth quarter down by six points.

But all it took was a blink and Troy went on an 11-0 run in the middle of the final quarter.

Sophomore guard Nakol Franks, scored a team-high 18 points and led the way for the Eagles hitting several threes that would bring the team within a few points of tying the game.

The Eagles also received contributions from senior forward Alexis Foulks, who scored 17 points on the day dedicated for her and her fellow senior teammates, and sophomore guard Alexis Brown, who dropped 16 points and sparked the multiple comebacks the Eagles staged.

The Eagles clinched the 11 seed for the Sun Belt conference tournament. They will take on Louisiana Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. ET in New Orleans.
