Georgia Southern Takes Their First Lost to Wisconsin Badgers

Eagles are now 2-1 after their loss to Wisconsin, the final score being 35-14

 

1st Quarter:  Neither GS or Wisconsin scored during the first quarter

2nd Quarter:  Wisconsin scored the first touchdown in the second quarter

  • GS answered back with a touchdown from OJ Arnold to tie up the game. 
  • GS Eagles committed 3 turnovers in the first half and were unable to take the lead at halftime leaving the score tied 7-7. 

 

3rd Quarter:  The Eagles came back and Jjay Mcafee scored the first touchdown of the second half.

  • Wisconsin scored three more touchdowns, two of which came from interceptions thrown by GS quarterback Davis Brin.
  • The score was 28-14 at the end of the 3rd. 

 

4th Quarter: The Badgers scored the last touchdown of the game in the 4th making the final score 35-14 

  • The Eagles are now 2-1 and will face Ball State in Indiana on September 23rd at 2 p.m.
