1st Half: Coastal scored the first points off the game but the Eagles were able to follow up by adding 5 points on the board with the help of Tyren Moore and Eren Banks. 

    • From there both teams went point for point leading up to halftime where GS was in the lead by only 1 point, 34-33 
    • Banks collected 14 points in just the first half

2nd Half: A well executed corner from Moore helped to tie up the game in the second half

  • Coastal player missed two free throws followed by a GS player hitting 3 out of 4 free throws giving the eagles the 3-point lead and win, 73-70
  • Eren Banks finished with 19 points which is his career high, Tyren Moore finished with 17 and Avantae Parker finished with 11 points. 

Georgia State game

1st Half: GS redeemed themselves from the previous 28-point loss against Georgia State after beating rivals 86-70

  • The Eagles started out with a 6-0 war with threes from both Cam Bryant and Tyren Moore. From there GS took the lead 17-17.
  • The Eagles made 10 three pointers in just the first half. 

2nd Half: A three-pointer from Eugene Brown helped to get the Eagles to a new season high of 17 made threes in a game. 

  • GS finished out the Panthers after a few free throws. 
  • Cam Bryant finished with his season-high of 19 points.

The Eagles will take to the road again for their game against App State this season on January 25th at 6:30 p.m.
