What Else: Chatham County’s public transit system (CAT) is also introducing a zero-fare pilot program for all students in Chatham County, which includes all Georgia Southern students. This program will allow students to use all CAT fixed route and paratransit buses in Savannah for free.
To utilize the CAT zero-fare system, students must show their Eagle ID (card or mobile) when boarding. Students can learn more information at the Chatham County “Student Zero Fare” Pilot Program site. Maps and bus routes trackers can be viewed by downloading the CATTracker app at catchacat.org.
