Starting May 6th of this year, “Chick-fil-A will be closing for a remodel,” according to April Burke, Georgia Southern’s Engagement & Communications Strategist.
The Statesboro campus’s Chick-fil-A will undergo a construction project over the summer 2024 semester. This project is reported to include upgrades of kitchen equipment and new technology, as well as an overall refresh of the restaurant.
For students still on the Statesboro campus this summer, the establishment is projected to reopen late in the summer term. Students with questions regarding this remodel are encouraged to contact the Facilities Response Center by calling 912-478-5825 or emailing srcwork@georgiasouthern.edu.
