Southern Adventures at Georgia Southern University is offering 12 outdoor adventure trips this semester, including canoeing, kayaking, mountain biking and climbing.

Sign-ups and price range

Anyone who pays a Recreation Activity Center (RAC) fee can sign up for a trip. Due to high demand, Southern Adventures fills the trips through a lottery system.

The trips range in price from $25 to $400, and the pricier options are Spring Break adventure trips.

Trip series schedule

Here is the full Spring 2018 schedule, including prices. Some of the trips will take just one day, while others last up to a week.

• Florida Canoeing ($55): Jan. 12 to Jan. 15
• FATS Mountain Biking ($25): Jan. 27
• Sea Kayaking ($25): Feb. 10
• Backpacking ($55): Feb. 16 to Feb. 18
• Canoeing ($25): Feb. 24
• Kayak Fishing ($25): March 3
• Spring Break Southern Adventure Trip ($250): March 10 to March 18
• Spring Break Southwest Adventure Trip ($400): March 10 to March 18
• Mountain Biking ($25): March 31
• Rock Climbing ($55): April 20 to April 22
• Stand Up Paddle Boarding ($55): April 28
