The long beloved Celebrate Together event will return to campus next Tuesday along with several other activities happening throughout the week.

Celebrate Together is a reworked Armstrong tradition that honors the campus and surrounding community. The event began in the 90s and has remained an annual event ever since.

The festivities will kick off on Saturday at 8 pm with Armstrong Class Royalty Voting, which will last until Wednesday at 12 pm.

Here are the rest of the activities for Spirit Week!

Saturday, Oct. 19 

• Georgia Southern vs. James Madison University – GSU will take on James Madison University at Paulson Stadium  at 4 pm. A shuttle will be available for students who need it. The game will also be live streamed on ESPN!

Monday, Oct. 21 

• Paint the Nest Blue Competition – Decorate your departments and residence halls to celebrate Eagle pride!
• T-shirt Grab – At 11 am at the Student Union you can grab a free Celebrate Spirit Week t-shirt with your Eagle ID
• Celebrating Savannah Kickoff – Start off your celebrations with live music and food at the Residential Plaza from 11 am to 1 pm!
• The Armstrong Campus Time Machine – Learn about Armstrong’s decades long history in Savannah at the Lane Library at 4pm through various games and activities

Tuesday, Oct. 22 

• T-shirt Grab – At 11 am at the Student Union you can grab a free Celebrate Spirit Week t-shirt with your Eagle ID

Wednesday, Oct. 23

• Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil – Become a juror and answer questions about Savannah’s history in this trail game in the Compass Plaza. Prizes will be given to those who answer correctly.
• Unity Fest – Join the office of Multicultural Affairs in the Residential Plaza from 3 to 5 pm to celebrate the Eagle nation’s diverse student body
• The Armstrong Campus Time Machine – Learn about Armstrong’s decades long history in Savannah at the Lane Library at 4pm through various games and activities

Thursday, Oct. 24

• Celebrate Together! – From 11 am to 3 pm, several booths, activities, games, music and food will be available on campus. Students and faculty are encouraged to invite their friends and family! Winners of the Armstrong Class Royalty will also be announced!
• Line Up and Celebrate – A showing of the Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil will be put on the Student Union lawn from 6 to 9 pm. Other entertainment will be provided, as well
• The Armstrong Campus Time Machine – Learn about Armstrong’s decades long history in Savannah at the Lane Library at 4pm through various games and activities

Friday, Oct. 25 

• Haunted Housing – The residence halls will be transformed into a haunted house from 8 to 10 pm
• Health Hut – Learn about LGBTQ+ history in the Student Union from 11 am to 1 pm. Sweet goodies will be handed out, too!
• Southern Adventures Hiking Trip – Head out to Skidaway Island at 12 pm for a hiking trip hosted by the CRI
