This past Wednesday, Greek life hosted their annual Trick or Treat On Greek Street.
For this event, all houses across Greek row celebrate Halloween and even decorate their houses.
Sigma Chi member Cash Vickery talked about why his frat enjoys this event so much.
“I feel like my frat is a really good, down-to-earth group of guys who really enjoy interacting with these kids,” Sigma Chi member Cash Vickery said. “I mean I know I was giving out candy for 2 hours and I loved every single second of it, just saying ‘What’s up!’ and just making them happy.”
Greek life members, families, and children enjoy bouncy houses, games of cornhole, music, and of course, trick or treating.
Even some attendees put their pets in costumes for this event.
Member of Zeta Tau Alpha Maggie Heiderscheit spoke about why this event is such a big opportunity for her sorority.
“I feel like we don’t get as many opportunities to do stuff with kids, being our philanthropy is breast cancer awareness,” Zeta Tau Alpha member Maggie Heiderscheit said. “So I feel like stuff like this, we all really do show up for it and we find joy in it just because we don’t have as many opportunities to do stuff like this in the community.”
Some Greek life members were also dressed in their Halloween costumes for the occasion.
Some houses even put up banners to celebrate the spooky season.
Many kids were very entertained, and ended the night with lots of candy in their buckets.
Trick or Treat On Greek Street truly shines a positive light on Greek life and shows how much they support this community.
