For the first time during the spring semester, the annual poster sale will take place in the training room behind Tech Corner from Jan. 22 to Jan. 26, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Before this semester, the sale, sponsored by the University Store, only took place at the beginning of the fall semester. It is located outside the University Store during the fall, but relocated inside for spring due to unpredictable weather conditions.

What to expect

According to Hassib Chebli, who has been in charge of the poster sale since 2014, it will feature over 1,300 different types of posters.

“It’s pretty popular on this campus,” Chebli said. “This is the first time we’ve done it in the spring, but in the fall we get a few hundred people every day and sell at least three-fourths of what we have.”

A majority of the posters contain pop culture themes, including TV shows, movies, musicians, quotes and more. Most of the larger prints cost $9.95, and the smaller prints range from around $5-$15, depending on the material of which they’re made.
