The Flowergirl in downtown Statesboro is located at 25 S. Main Street. Jackie Philips is the owner of this flower shop and does custom designs for different events such as weddings, funerals and her all-time favorite are the flower bars.

“I love seeing the community come out, pick out what they like, for their loved ones, or themselves- like the parents; fathers coming out with their kids to pick out mom flowers for valentine’s day or Mother’s Day is an amazing, amazing thing to me,” said owner Jackie Philips.

Philips got the name “The Flowergirl” from her daughter being a model in a bridal show in Statesboro and she was the flower girl. She also enjoys decorating the front of her store with different accessories and flowers for the community to see.

“I love what I do, I’m lucky I’m a part of the biggest days in people’s lives,” said Philips.

The Flowergirl hours are 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. Monday through Friday and they can be found on Facebook and Instagram @theflowergirlstatesboro.
