The Brooklet Kiwanis Club Fair hosted their first Egg-stravaganza hunt on Saturday April 5 on the Brooklet Festival Grounds.
The organization partnered with the City of Brooklet to bring the community together. The egg hunts were divided into three age groups to ensure a fair experience for all children.
In addition to the egg hunt, a bouncy house, slide, and various yard games were on display for the children to enjoy.
“Everything is always done in the fall, and it’s a wonderful time. Everything gives thanks and then we go into Christmas and everyone’s always really busy. But we always kind of neglected Easter and some of the spring festivals. I always thought you know it would be really neat if we did something in the spring of the year,” said President of Kiwanis Club Fair Jeff Graham.
The Brooklet Kiwanis Club aims to have more events for community members due to not having many events in the spring.
For more information about events, the club hosts weekly meetings on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. at Newman Center located at 206 Railroad Street.
