On March 28, thousands of people gathered in Downtown Savannah for a peaceful protest against the second-term policies of President Trump. The protesters stepped off from Emmet park, then gathered at City Hall to hear a speech from Byran Bryant, international president of IAM Union.
“This country stands for no kings,” Bryant said.
Specific issues raised by protestors included constitutional violations, immigration crack-downs, and the illegal use of tariffs. The crowd expressed their opinions by creating signs of all different types — some serious and some lighthearted. They marched through the streets of Savannah with a simple chant:
“No kings, no crowns, we won’t back down!”
