Statesboro hosted their Spring Carnival at the Kiwanis Fair Grounds from Wednesday, April 8 to Saturday, April 11. The event was full of food, fun rides, and lots of laughs from both students and locals.
Rides ranged from tame rides such as the ferris wheel to high speed flyers like the Starship 3000. Not only did they have many different types of rides to enjoy but they had a ton of games to play. Basketball, ring toss, fishing, and so much more.
Every game gave you the opportunity to win amazing prizes to take home to commemorate your time at the carnival. Of course, you can’t leave the carnival without trying some delicious food. The carnival offered many different types of food including fried food, smoothies, cotton candy, popcorn, and a carnival favorite; the funnel cake.
This event was such a fun way to join the students and the Statesboro community. Be on the look out for more events hosted by Kiwanis Fair Grounds in the future.
