According to a Statesboro Herald report, a Georgia Southern student faces charges in the case of  the murder that took place in the Grove Apartments on March 9. The victim, Deniro Arness Smith, died from gunshot wounds after being found at the scene by officers.

Jaden Thinh Lee, has been charged with felony murder in connection to the case according to WTOC. Also Michael Jay Williams has also been charged with the obstruction of law enforcement and providing false information with connection to the case.

Investigation for the case continues and both individuals could face more charges.
