Georgia Southern’s baseball team is aiming for the Sunbelt!

The team and the coach thinks they will be ready for a run back to the NCAA’s. “I think it’s a really good baseball league,” Rodney Hennon, GSU baseball coach, said.

According to Savannah Now, Evan Challenger was named All-Sunbelt Conference first team selection while a sophomore and is now returning this season as a junior. He has improved a lot and the coach seems to have high hopes that he will help get the team and the school a nice victory.

“He can command all of his pitches, throw them at any time. He can work both sides of the plate and change speeds. He doesn’t do a lot to beat himself, ” Hennan said,

The eagle’s baseball players are at the beginning of their season with a long way to go and with the support from the fans and their training it should be an exciting season.
