STATESBORO — Classes in the May and summer semesters will be held remotely at Georgia Southern University and the rest of the University System of Georgia in response to COVID-19.

Normal on-campus operations are expected to return in the fall semester, so long as guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Georgia Department of Public Health allow it, according to an email from GS.

The announcement follows the March 16 decision to move instruction for the spring semester online.

For students and faculty, GS offers online learning sources on their website. Follow this link to access these resources.
