Bill Bowers to preform on Saturday Janurary 23rd

Bill Bowers, professional mine and Broadway star, is bringing a special performance of his show, “It Goes Without Saying”, to campus on Saturday, January 23rd.
The audience will follow Bowers’ mimes and his life so far, from being gay while growing up in the wilds of Montana, to his unusual and outrageous jobs as a performer, to the whirlwind of working on Broadway.
Critics have hailed Bowers’ as the most accomplished and renowned mime of his generation. He has performed in numerous countries, from Poland and Japan to Italy and Austria, and many more. Bowers’ has also performed in all 50 states and in Puerto Rico.
He has appeared on the stages of Broadway, the Kennedy Center, the White House, Ensemble Studio Theater, and Radio City Music Hall among others. Bowers’ is also credited on Broadway for performing as Zazu in “The Lion King” and Leggett in “The Scarlet Pimpernel”.
The performance will take place in the Black Box Theatre in the University’s Center for Art & Theatre at 7:30 p.m. and all tickets will be $3. Contact the box office at 912-478-5379 for more information or reservations.
