After an evening of beauty, grace and talent, Gracie Allen earned the crown and the title of Miss Georgia Southern 2025 at the 77th annual scholarship pageant.
The Miss Georgia Southern Scholarship Pageant is the longest-standing preliminary competition, giving crowned winners the opportunity to advance and become Miss America. Miss Georgia Southern is more than just a title, it is a commitment to service to the community where talented, ambitious young ladies present themselves with pride.
Eleven candidates including Olivia Lott, Miriam Marlin, Victoria Resto, Gracie Allen, Saria Anderson, Erin Justice, Melaney Smith, Janae Johnson, Kaitlyn Tanner, Alana Milner and Precious Oghenekar competed with grace and poise.
The competition kicked off with the Talent Showcase, which accounted for 20% of the overall score. Candidates were divided into Pink and White Groups. From mesmerizing dance performances and soulful singing to elegant aerobic dancing and a fascinating science experiment, the stage came alive with creativity and passion.
- Best Talent was awarded to Miss Kaitlyn Tanner
For the Health and Fitness round, there was a celebration of strength, confidence and well-being. The round showed the balance between physical and mental fitness. Every candidate showed their dedication to maintaining a rich and healthy lifestyle, committing themselves to fitness as they walked with grace, lighting up the stage.
- Best Health and Fitness was awarded to Miss Gracie Allen
Competitors then went into a round of answering questions.The score for this round was based onFirst Impression, Confidence and Stage Performance, accounting for 10% of the overall score. Every candidate was asked a question based on their service to the community and their background.
The competition concluded with the ‘evening wear’ round and each candidate commanded the room with sophistication and confidence.
- The Best Wear Title was awarded to Miss Melaney Smith
- Miss Photogenic was awarded to Miss Miriam Marlin
- Miss Congeniality was awarded to Miss Precious Oghenekaro
At the end of the night, Miss Kaitlyn Tanner was declared as the First Runner Up for the event and Miss Miriam Marlin earned the spot of Second Runner Up.
