The Georgia Southern University Police Department is hosting their 2nd annual No-Shave November fundraiser.

The fundraiser is going to feature members of the GSU Police Department either growing facial hair or wearing pink highlights in their hair to raise awareness and funds for cancer research.

Cancer is a disease that is found all over the world. The No-Shave November Campaign came into creation a little over five years ago, and has since raised over $2 million for research of the disease.

The goal for the GSU Police Department is $1,500, but the fundraising does not stop there. A $1 donation will get you a No-Shave November badge sticker, and a $10 donation will get you a No-Shave November t-shirt featuring the “Bearded Eagle.”
