Georgia Southern University to host Healthcare Symposium

Georgia Southern University’s Jiann-Ping Hsu College of Public Health will host David Rubenstein, Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executive, as the featured speaker for the Healthcare Symposium today.
The presentations will address the topic “A Young Leader’s Toolkit: Know Oneself to Better Lead Others.” The symposium is focused on leadership principles for the next generation of leaders. Rubenstein is expecting to offer his thoughts on how an individual’s personal values can help shape one’s leadership abilities in any organization.
Rubenstein is a 35-year Army veteran that served as Deputy Surgeon General, Commanding General of the Army Medical Department Center and School, and as Chief of the Army Medical Service Corps. He is currently a clinical associate professor of health administration at Texas State University.
James Stephens, director of the Master of Healthcare Administration program at Georgia Southern University is very exited for the event.

The event is free and open to all students, faculty and staff, and to the public. The event will take place at the Performing Arts Center starting at 2 p.m.
