President Brooks Keel, Ph.D., was recently named among the Top 100 Most Influential Georgians by Georgia Trend Magazine. The magazine says the list reflects the realities of power, leadership and of course, influence in Georgia. In the five years that President Keel has been with us here at Georgia Southern University, he has sought to establish leadership and needs based scholarships, secured $75 million in improvement projects, was the only university president to testify before the U.S. House Education and Workforce Committee in 2014, along with many other accomplishments.
