In the SEARC 5 competition, the Eagles shot a 2198 in air rifle and a 1999 in small bore. Jennifer Middlebrook finished second on the team and also set a career best in air rifle.

Emmy Johnson shot 554 in air rifle; she was closely followed by Middlebrook, who shot 553. Tori Lewis, Becky Collier and Kathryn Youngblood were all close behind. Youngblood shot a career best of 520 while teammate Ale Shortridge shot a 508 for the day, the second Eagle to shoot over 500.

The Eagles will return to competition at SEARC 6 on Feb. 7 in Milledgeville, Ga.
