Georgia Southern University’s 2015 MLK Celebration speaker Michele Norris will not be visiting Wednesday January 28th as previously scheduled.

Norris will now speak at the Performing Arts Center Wednesday February 18 at 7p.m.

Norris was the first female host of the National Public Radio (NPR). She is an award winning journalist and hosted the longest running national program, All Things Considered, from 2002 to 2012.

She stepped away to avoid political coverage due to her husband’s involvement in Barack Obama’s reelection campaign.

Seating will be limited, so students should arrive early.
