Google Launches “Google Classroom” app
January 20, 2015
Google launched an app that will allow students to submit homework and different assignments from their own phone. Google Classroom has many different features that will allow school to be easier on students and teachers.
The app will allow teachers to create and collect assignment paperless. In addition, the application can be used along with other Google programs in order to provide information to each student.
This will permit students to keep track of assignments that are due and begin working on them immediately. Teachers can give instant feedback through the app as well.
Google Classroom is expected to mainly be used in high school, but could be used at universities across the country. The app will join Google drive, docs and Gmail as an app that help achieve higher education.
The app is available in both the Google Play store and the App Store for free.
