Valentine’s Day can be intimidating due to lack of money or ideas about what to do, especially here in the small town of Statesboro. There are things to do out of town, like go to Savannah or Pooler, but there are also more local things that you and your significant other can take part in on campus or around town.

Valentine’s Open High Challenge Course

R.A.C. Challenge Course 

Thursday, Feb. 13 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

The Southern Adventures club is offering a Valentine’s Open High Challenge Course. If you and your lover are feeling adventurous, you could go try out the course. There are 30 slots available. If interested, you can snag a spot by visiting the Southern Adventures Center during their normal hours to register. Walk-ins are accepted only if there are spots available.

Firearms Date Night

Shooting Sports Education Center

Friday, Feb. 14 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

You and your significant other could go and learn about firearms and practice shooting, if that is something that you are interested in.

You will learn how to properly shoot and handle guns, as well as get in sometarget practice. If you and your Valentine are up for some competition, you could see who has a better aim.

You and your date could go enjoy a free movie and special Valentine’s day dinner that will be provided while supplies lasts.

The Clubhouse is offering a special Valentines Day menu and special. You could go eat and play a round of mini golf or bowl for a while. You can call to make a reservation, as well as upgrade to the Sweetheart Attraction Package.
