I have done it again guys (Joey’s done it again, but I came up with the idea!) We all know them, most of us love them, you gotta have them…Patty Melts. O. M. G. When I tell y’all I have been craving patty melts lately, I mean I REALLY have been craving them, thus prompting Joey to make them for me, and also prompting this week’s article. These Patty Melts are just to die for; they’re delicious, cost-efficient, and so easy and quick that even I, someone with ADHD and completely talentless when it comes to cooking, can make them. So I guess we’ll just jump right into it.
Ingredients:
- Garlic and Herb Seasoning: $4.98
- Ground Beef Patties: $7.93
- Honey Wheat Sandwich Bread: $6.99
- 32-count pack of Kraft American Cheese: $6.77
Total: $26.67
Directions (for one melt):
- Season the patties with Garlic and Herb Seasoning then cook the patties to your liking.
- Butter two slices of bread then place one slice of cheese on the opposite side of the butter on a slice of bread.
- Place the bread, butter side down, on a pan set at medium heat.
- Then place the patty on the side with cheese.
- Put cheese on top of the patty then place the last piece of bread on that (It will look like a sandwich).
- Finally, cook it like a grilled cheese to your preferred toast levels and cheesiness.
Now, as always, you don’t have to take my word for it, you can take someone else’s too, the person this time being Aiden Bush. “4 stars. I would recommend it, it was pretty [dang] good,” he said. See, I told y’all! (In my personal opinion it’s a 6 out of 5 stars though, but maybe I’m biased…)
Anyway, that’s all for now though, and as always, if you have any recommendations for next week, leave a comment!
