Alexis Hampton, Reflector Magazine
Alexis Hampton was the Editor-in-Chief for the Reflector, the George-Anne's lifestyle magazine and features division. She is from McDonough, GA, majoring in Multimedia Journalism with a minor in Public Relations, expected to graduate in December 2021.
Along with joining student media in Spring 2018, she has transitioned from News Editor at the George-Anne to Managing Editor with the Reflector. Alexis is also, formerly, a Resident Advisor at Southern Courtyard, a Radio Show Host at WVGS 91.9 Voice of Georgia Southern, and a barista at Cool Beanz Espresso Bar. She is currently building her resume portfolio and striving to write for major lifestyle magazines upon graduating.
Alexis is very passionate about the Reflector and has plans to expand on the content they create with major collaboration efforts within Student Media. She is spearheading new ways to put out lifestyle and feature content like Reflector Red Carpet and working with our Creative division to build a more visual, engaging print magazine.
Aside from writing, she enjoys singing, dancing, and shopping.
